Sustainable, Local, Seasonal

Harbour-side pub in Polruan overlooking the water and the boats coming and going. We serve seasonal dishes inspired by French and Middle Eastern cooking, built around local, responsibly sourced ingredients.

We work closely with nearby farmers, fishermen, and growers to keep things seasonal and sustainable, letting the ingredients lead the menu.

the landlords

tom & kay

Kay looks after front-of-house, keeping things running smoothly and making sure everyone is looked after without any fuss.

Tom is head chef, cooking seasonal food with a focus on local produce, simple flavours, and doing justice to what’s available that day.

If you come in, you’re likely to see one of them (or both) running around somewhere between the kitchen and the bar.

our team

We’re backed by a small but solid team who keep everything moving behind the scenes and on the floor. From kitchen prep to front of house service, they’re the reason things run properly on busy nights and calm ones alike.

We’re genuinely grateful for the care, graft, and good humour they bring every day.
